EOTY is the most prestigious event organized by the ACM committee. Every year, 1 engineer who qualifies all the rounds gets the title of EOTY. This year, EOTY was scheduled on 22nd September 2022 from 2pm to 4pm. EOTY had in all 3 rounds. The first & second rounds were held in class 307. The first two rounds were of 20 minutes each & the last round was of 50 minutes. The first round had 22 students. At 2:31pm, the first round started which consisted of basic GK questions. 

At 2:55pm the results of the first round were announced. Out of 22 students, only 15 students were qualified for the next round. At 3pm, the second round began. The second round consisted of basic technical crosswords. At 3:20pm, the results of the second round were out. 

Gindi sir, Vikas sir & Zainab ma’am were the judges for the last round. In the last round, a bowl was passed which had 6 business problem statements. Each one had to pick 1 problem statement & derive a solution or an example for solving the problem. 10 minutes were provided to all the finalists to reach the solution. Each of the finalists were given minimum 2 minutes to maximum 5 minutes to present their pitch in front of the judges. If the particular finalist fails to reach a solution, he/she can use a hint. For each hint, marks would be deducted. The judges were free to question the finalists at any point during the pitch. At 3:57pm, the finale of EOTY began. The finalists were instructed to present their pitches according to their ranks. At 4:10pm, the first finalist started pitching his solution. Between 4:20pm to 4:36pm, the rest of the finalists presented their pitches. After that Vikar sir & Zainab ma’am shared their views/opinions about the entire event. All the participants, teachers, finalists, volunteers etc were asked to assemble in CC Lab, for the prize distribution ceremony.

 The winner of EOTY was announced by 4:53pm. Ms.Aafiya Shaikh from BE IT won the title of EOTY. She was facilitated with a sash, trophy & a certificate by our ACM chapter conveyer Mrs.Zainab Mirza. EOTY turned out to be a grand success for the entire ACM team 2022-2023.
